Biogas
When the methane content is sufficiently high, typically over 40% cent, biogas can be used as an industrial fuel, usually for the production of electricity or heat. The regulations and operational rules for the biogas will differ depending on the origins of the initial biomass. Thus, biogas obtained from biomasses of agricultural or industrial origin (processing waste) has its own specific compliance requirements, while biogas obtained from municipal waste or wastewater, for example, has different qualitative characteristics and different regulations to comply with. This substantial fuel variation must therefore be reflected both in plant applications and in management criteria and administrative requirements, which are often also significantly different depending on the specific type of biogas used.
Expertise and field experience are key to the success of an initiative in this field and 2GEeS is there, committed to the integral management of landfill biogas-fuelled energy production plants, carrying out installation and full service maintenance of the various production plant sections, including the network for capturing and conveying gas from the extraction wells to the generation units. We can deal with technical aspects (engine maintenance, alternators, conveyor systems, etc.), diagnostics (troubleshooting and malfunction analysis) or consultancy work (expert reports, technical opinions, party-appointed advice) and any other type of technical and administrative fulfilment necessary and/or beneficial to the implementation or operation of the production plant. This is thanks to our extensive relevant experience, also due to constant interaction with the competent bodies and operators locally and nationally.
